Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire were the first two games in Pokemon's 3rd Generation for Game Boy Advance. They introduced the land of Hoenn, lots of new attacks, new pokemon and a whole new reason to train your pokemon - contests! A third game was soon added, Pokemon Emerald in which you were forced to stop both Team Magma and Team Aqua, one of which you were sided with in the previous games.
With a whole host of new pokemon and legendaries to catch, not to mention an entire new world to explore, these games were a massive success!
